Sneaky Peek!

Hello all! Sorry for being a little absent of late. I have been finding the trek into London each day for work so tiring and the days so long that I just haven't had the energy or time to create any new projects :o(.
However, I had a day off today for an interview locally.......and I got the job! Woohoo!! :o) Got so excited I think I text most of my contacts stored in my mobile lol!
Also, I thought I'd attach a sneaky peek at my first DT member project for bee-crafty that I've been working on for a little while -just snatching any little free time. Full piccys and details will be posted on Saturday so if you'd like to see more, feel free to pop back for looky.
Hoping you all stay 'cool' for the rest of the week!

Father's Day is almost here..

Have you all made your dad a Father's Day Card yet?

I was racking my ickle brain as to what to put on my dad's card but then, whilst glancing at the craft mags when in Tesco shopping a few weeks back (does anyone else do that?) I noticed that in (now last) issue of Paper Craft Inspirations Mag that they have a website where you can download templates....for FREE! Always loving a freebie I logged on and found a paintbrush card template - perfect for my dad's card!
The stripy part of the card is from a gift bag (see, I can do recycling hehe). I inked up the bottom of the card with a bluey/turquoise coloured inkpad to make it look used.
I am unsure as to whether I should add any more detail or embellishments as don't want to overdo it but feel it lacks just a little something or other..
Materials:
Card:- coredinations chocolate box cardstock, white paper, stripy and blue paper from stash
Image:-brush template downloaded from papercraftinspirations website
Sentiment:- Impression Obsession word stamp set
Inks:- black whispers , papermania turquoise ink
Miscell:- rope from recycled gift bag,
Tools:- crop-a-dile, scissors, guilotine, sticky strip runner
I hope you've all had a good weekend. I have a very busy week ahead as starting new job in London (the joy of 12hour days is not very attractive, but hey, it's a job for now).
Bye for now xxx

Pink Gem and Bee-crafty Combo

Well, I have to say I am shattered! BUT, I still managed, somehow, in the week to do some crafting (just ignored the ironing one night - out of sight out of mind.. hehe)
