Brrrr....! It sure is chilly out there tonight, so quite happy to stay in and craft away to my heart's content. Feeling a wee bit frustrated today. Is it just me or does anyone else find that you can't get most of the craft items/stock you want just from one website? It means you end up paying several postage fees. Grr. Sorry, that's my moan of the day out of the way lol.

Last night I made my first Hanglar card. I just love these characters and wish I could get my crafty mitts on more of them! I am quite pleased with the way the card turned out (suprised myself actually) I couldn't find quite the right coloured flowers and papers to match the promarker colours used on the image so I took up a tip from the (fab) elzybells website which suggested making your own. I simply coloured in some white card with my the colours used on the image and wallah! Hope you like....

Pretty in Pink

Well, it's been a hectic day so a late post! Although have spent the last half an hour or so fiddling around with my camera to try and get the best shot of this card I made at the weekend for my friend's little girl's 1st birthday tomorrow. I love this stamp but this is the first occasion where it's been appropriate to use it.
I coloured Tilda with my promarkers (Blossom and Rose Pink, pastel green and edged with Cool Grey 1). I mounted her onto spellbinder's scalloped circles on coredinations cardstock. The main papers used are from the PaperMania Sweet Nothings pack. I punched two holes at the top of the card and threaded 'Celebrate' (I think that's the make) organza ribbon through it and tied in a bow. The Birthday sentiment is a stamp from a Doodlebug set; not particularly happy with how it came out on the card though (grr!).
Hope you like it... already thinking about my next project..
Thanks for visting. Any comments welcomed.
Ta ra for now.
