Friday Sketchers Challenge..

It's been aaages since I last entered a Friday Sketchers challenge - mainly because I just haven't had the time - but, seeing as my crafting mojo has made a comeback and the fact that I was dying to try out my new fiskars punch, I thought I'd make the most of it and have a go at this weeks challenge.It's a nice and simple sketch (see left). I used a hanglar image that DC member sent me recently.

Papers and cardstock: flower paper downloaded free from Pollycraft

Embellis: ribbon from stash, dew drop glass gems and candy dots from diestodiefor.com, flowers from PaperMania

Other: Fiskars Scalloped Lace Punch 'threading water' (cheapest to buy from ebay, believe me!), Doodlebug alphabet transfers, Versamagic ink 'Pixie Dust', Nestabilities embossing folder 'Swirls'

A little cheery crafty make for a wet Friday

Hey there,

Today I've been at home as have had flu like symptoms - not good! By midday wasn't feeling too bad so got myself comfy in the lounge and started crafting (inbetween much nose blowing lol).

I ended up making my mum her birthday card, even though her birthday isn't until late October! Jeez, when did I become so organised?!

Anyways, here is the result.

The card shape was made using an upcoming tutorial on bee-crafty's blog which you'll be able to view next Saturday (worth a look!).

Materials

Papers: PaperMania 'Sweet Nothings' pack, Bazzill cardstock

Stamps: Personal Impressions image, PaperMania sentiment taken from the 'stampin chic' men's set

Embelli's: PaperMania Alphabet mini 3d stickers in white, dew drop glass gems in rose pink and pale blue from diestodiefor.com, Karen Foster Design 'scrapper's floss' in pale sky blue

Mediums: Polychromo pencils blended with Sansador (OMS), Memento 'Tuxedo Black' inkpad

Another crafty 'sneek peek'!

I can't quite believe I've managed to sneek in 2 postings within the last 48hrs peeps! Adam and Ty went fishing (yes, fishing with a 4yr old!) this morning and have only just got back (it's 4.40pm now) so I've had most of the afternoon free to craft! The result is my next DT project for bee-crafty which I am dying to share with you but can't just yet so thought I'd give you an ickle sneeky peek of it!

Bee Crafty 'Summer Fun' Challenge

Hiya!
Feeling kinda happy today as went to see the new Harry Potter Film at the cinema with my older sis and her husband; left Adam and Ty at home as Adam really not a Potter fan and Ty far too young (not that he thinks that though lol). It was brilliant but I jumped a couple of times as bit scary (I am a teeny bit sensitive).
Had a fair bit going on in last couple of weeks, hence lack of cardmaking and inspiration in this, my DT project for Bee-crafty.blogspot.com. Not 100% happy with this card as if had more time would have added more detail.

Just a quickie to show you Tyler's finished card; Yes, just by the skin of my teeth I finished it off in time!

My 1st Bee Crafty DT project

Helloo everybody! What a gorgeous day it's been, considering the forecast in my area was rain today. It's Tyler's 4th birthday on Tuesday so we've been out buying him a bike this afternoon.I've still to finish making his birthday card though..only got 2 days left to do it..aargh!

Well, here it is.. my 1st Bee Crafty DT project which has a 'winged' theme. It didn't take me long to decide on image as I just love the 'whimsical angel seated' download. I was really inspired by a 3 step card tutorial on the 'nextlevel challenge blog here and had a go at one myself.
